At Smithville CRC, we value people and discipleship. Small Groups provide a place for us to get connected, and to grow in our relationship with God and each other. A Small Group can be a Bible Study group, a support group, or a task group. It concentrates on one or more of the following: BEING (building relationships), LEARNING (study & accountability), CARING (sharing, praying, assisting), and DOING (serving together). We encourage every member to be connected in a small group of some sort.

• A bi-weekly Monday night prayer group
• A prayer chain linked by members willing to pray at any given time, confidentially lifting needs/praises as they arise
• An after-service prayer time, where 2 or 3 people are available to pray for/with others
• A healing prayer group, available to pray with those who are going through special circumstances or illness In need of prayer?

Our Music Ministry encourages the church body as a whole to give praise to our God through music. Members with musical gifts are encouraged to get involved with their vocal or instrumental talents. Our Music Coordinator arranges for various teams to practice and participate for Sunday worship leading, and also arranges selections for special services. Individuals gifted in technology (Sound and Audio) are also a vital part of this ministry.
4th SUNDAY OF THE MONTH
Everyone who attends our church is encouraged to be part of a Grow Group. Grow Groups meet the Fourth Sunday of the month, from September to March, and are a great opportunity to meet others from our church community. We enjoy refreshments and/or lunch, and spend time in sermon-based discussion and prayer. Grow Groups are meant to be a safe place where we can be ourselves, learn together, share together, and even serve together. Not part of this ministry? Connect with us and we'll gladly place you in a group!
